Audio-X

Biography

Audio X is one of the Southeast USA's premiere Hardcore artists, emerging onto the scene in late 2005 with releases on Addictive Vinyl and Audio Reanimation. Later hardcore releases followed with the relaunch of AC Slater's label, Pitched Up Recordings, and the ensuing album, "Plains, Trains, and Alcohol Bills: A Compilation of Excess", as well as with the critically-acclaimed Electronica Exposed family of labels and an appearance on the OneFive compilation, "Hardcore Underground 2".

First introduced to the rave sound in the early nineties with The Prodigy's album, Experience, Audio X has been a lifelong fan of electronic music. He began producing in the late 90s, at first toying with trackers to create old school mashups, and then moving on to more advanced MIDI studios in 2001 and eventually enrolling at Middle Tennessee State University to study Sound Engineering. Taking influences from Old Skool, Happy Hardcore, Jungle, Psy Trance, and the dark, twisted atmospheres of Finnish Freeform, Audio X delivers a diverse, unique experience in an otherwise stagnant hardcore scene.
